RIP - Dick Thoenen

 

Dick Thoenen, who pitched 1 inning of 1 game for the Phillies in 1967, passed away on December 21, 2023 at age 75.

Thoenen pitched in the Phillies' farm system from 1963 to 1969, compiling a 45-42 record over that time. A starting pitcher in his first 3 seasons, he switched to relieving after 1965.
